The Bumpy Road to India
The article presents the results of study evaluating four phases along a typical market entry process in India. It identifies the key challenges and develops potential solutions for each of the four market entry phases. Managers benefit from the study results through the study results twofold. First, the study highlights those issues during a market entry process that seems to matter most for SMEs. Second, the authors of the study have developed a systematic proposal for each market entry process step in order to either avoid or at least mitigate the identified key challenges (Winter 2011 / Spring 2012; University of St.Gallen). Dr. Moser is one of the co-authors of the study.
